Compass Tours and Treks is a company of passionate professionals based in Pakistan. We have an office in Lahore (location can be seen at the bottom of the page). Our staff is spread out across 2 countries: Pakistan & Norway.
Who book our tours generally?
It depends who book our tours. Corporates, families, democrats, etc., meaning we manage solo tourists to very large groups, for example, a group of 150. Over the years, we have had a nearly equal amount of men and women travel with us. The average age of a trip participant is 35. The oldest person to join us was 66y, and the youngest was 1.5y.
What are the vegetarian options in Pakistan as a foreigner tourist?
As a vegetarian tourist in Pakistan, you can enjoy dishes such as daal, chana masala, vegetable biryani, paneer dishes, and street food snacks like samosas, pakoras, and chaat. These delicious and nutritious vegetarian options are widely available and offer a diverse culinary experience.
Despite what you hear on the mainstream news, Pakistan is safe for American, UK, European, etc., tourists. Part of the ethos of Compass Tours and Treks is to smash negative stereotypes associated with these countries by showing you what the media never does. We have never had any of our clients be denied entry or a visa – regardless of nationality.
Is Pakistan safe to travel?
What kind of fitness I need to travel Pakistan?
This depends on the trip in question. Generally speaking, you DON’T need to have superhuman fitness to enjoy a trip. Because all of our journeys are active adventures, we do encourage our clients to have basic fitness and to generally enjoy spending some time outside.
How is the climate of Pakistan?
Pakistan's climate varies greatly depending on the region. Generally, the country experiences hot summers and cold winters, with monsoon rains occurring in some areas during the summer months. The northern regions of Pakistan have a cooler climate, while the southern regions are hotter and drier.
